GET MORE FROM YOUR TV!
Logic TV gives you access to advanced features like Whole-Home DVR, ReStart TV, CatchUp TV, Video On Demand, Pay-Per-View and more as they become available. These features let you experience TV on a new level!
LogicTV supports up to 6 Live TV streams to your household. A TV stream can be a live TV show, an On Demand program or a Pay Per View (PPV) event. If you have 2 or more TVs tuned to the same live TV program, you’ll only be using 1 live TV stream. Also, watching programs that have already been recorded on your PVR doesn’t use a live stream.
If you try to watch or record more live TV programs than you have available streams, your LogicTV service will present you with options to either select the programs that you wish to watch or record, or interrupt a program on another TV.
With your LogicTV DVR, while the live TV streams are being used to watch or record live programs, you can watch up to 4 recorded programs on your other TVs. Viewing a recorded program does not use a live TV stream as it is stored on your DVR.
ReStart lets you watch a show already in progress from the beginning. So whether you tune in midway or just as the credits are rolling, you can simply start from the beginning by hitting ReStart.
As you browse the guide, programs that can be restarted will be identified by the ReStart symbol. As you flip through channels, if a channel is ‘restart’ enabled it will be identified at the bottom of your screen.
Note: ReStart TV is not available on all channels
There are 2 ways to restart a show

Our DVR allows you to record up to 145 hours in HD or 450 hours in SD or a combination of the 2. You can pause a recorded show you have been watching in your living room and pick up where you left off in the kitchen or den. You can also schedule and access recordings from any room in your home, and even watch the same recording from different rooms at the same time and control them separately. Plus pause, rewind and fast-forward live TV from any TV with a set-top-box.
DVR Menu
Quickly and easily manage your recordings through the DVR menu.
When a program is being recorded, a red record icon will be displayed in the guide regardless of which digital box you are watching TV on. The record light will remain lit on all your set-top-boxes, including your DVR, during a recording
Recording a Single Episode
Quick tip: Sometimes programs, like sporting events, will run a little longer than their scheduled time. But if you extend the recording time you can be sure you won’t miss a minute.
Recording a Series
Quick tip: if you press the record button for a third time, your recording will be cancelled.
Resuming a recorded program on a different TV
When you’re watching a show, your DVR will save it for up to 90 minutes, so you can pause, rewind and fast-forward whenever you like on the TV connected to your DVR. Once you’ve paused live TV, a status bar will show you where you are in the program and how much has been temporarily saved.
If you pause for longer than 90 minutes, the program will automatically start playing from the point where you paused it. All temporarily saved live TV will be deleted once you change the channel or turn your TV off. Remember, if you’d like to save a show, be sure to record it!
Not all shows are meant for all eyes, which is why you’re in control of what your family watches. Parental Controls must be configured on each of your set-top-boxes with your PIN and will allow you to block programs by channel, rating and content. You’ll also need this PIN to modify your settings, view blocked content or change your PIN.

Creating a Parental Control PIN
Logic automatically locks all content rated rated A or AO. When enabled, program title and information will be blocked from appearing in the guide. Other blocking options will not hide the adult titles or program information unless this setting is set to locked. To get the unlock PIN please call Customer Care at 745-5555. Once you have the PIN you will be able to unlock the feature so you will not be prompted for a PIN when trying to view adult content.
Note: with adult PIN turned off, adult content will be available to browse (even if not subscribed) within the Video On Demand section of LogicTV.
Block or unblock programs by channel or content rating
You can use the Interactive button on your remote to search for TV programs and Video On Demand content.
If you have a home theater receiver and wish to enable surround sound, follow these steps:
Note: In order for surround sound to work, a program must have a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack.
By default, your LogicTV set-top-box is setup to output the picture to your TV in the native aspect ratio from the programmer. On a Standard Definition (SD) channel the native resolution is 640 x 480. Today, most people have widescreen televisions. A program in SD will not fill the entire screen. If you would like to stretch the program on your screen follow these steps:
Note: to completely fill your screen you will need to adjust your TV’s aspect ratio to “full screen” or “zoom”. The name of which will vary by TV manufacturer. Use your TV’s remote control to do this, not your LogicTV remote.
Not to be confused with “subtitles”, Closed Captions aim to describe to the deaf and hard of hearing all significant audio content - spoken dialogue and non-speech information such as the identity of speakers along with any significant music or sound effects using words or symbols on a screen. Closed Captioning can be enabled on LogicTV when it is available on the program you are watching. If you would like to turn closed captions on or off, follow these steps:
