Logic updates amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear Valued Customers,

On March 12, 2020 the Government confirmed the first case of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. At Logic, we have been preparing for this and have been taking proactive measures to mitigate potential virus exposure for our employees and our customers.

Please note that Logic is very prepared to deal with any additional capacity on our network in the result of more people working from home. In fact, if you require additional speed, please call our office at 745-5555 and we'll be happy to help you with an upgrade.

As social distancing is a key way to mitigate the spread of the virus, we are closing our Governor's Square retail location effective Monday, March 16th until further notice. Our retail office at 43 Eclipse Drive will remain open with its regular hours.

Our customer facing staff are taking all necessary precautions to protect themselves and our customers, but we also appreciate your efforts to minimize contact with them.

As a reminder here are some other payment options available to keep your account active:

  • Pay online utilizing your bank's bill payment system - (Butterfield, ScotiaBank, Cayman National Bank and Royal Bank)
  • Call our customer service center at 745-5555 to arrange payment
  • Sign up for Direct Debit from your bank account. Authorization form
  • Cheque payments are accepted via our drop box located at our Television Centre location

Finally, a reminder to keep up good hygiene practices. Please wash your hands regularly and keep your surrounding area clean. We can all help minimize the impact this virus has on our community.

Connectivity is always essential to our customers - doctors and nurses, first responders, governments, banks, grocery stores, pharmacies and others delivering vital services. As a critical infrastructure provider, Logic views it as our civic duty to step up and keep our customers and communities connected.

It's been a challenging time for everyone and we want to keep you informed of the efforts we are taking to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers in addition to our efforts to ensure continued connectivity for our islands.

Staying safe on the frontline:

Our goal is to limit employee exposure while meeting the essential needs of our customers. As such, the following measures have been implemented with immediate effect:

  • Our team will not be entering homes if anyone inside your home has flu like symptoms, has been infected or exposed to COVID-19, or under self-quarantine (this includes international travelers returning to Cayman). We will do our best to assist customers but will not enter the premise until such time that the customer can prove medical clearance or the self-quarantine period has ended. We ask you to be honest with us in these efforts to reduce exposure to our employees and you, our valued customers.
  • If we do need to visit your home please respect our technicians and maintain your distance from them. They have all been trained in sanitization protocols and will do their best to limit their footprint in your homes.
  • We are committed to keeping you connected and we understand you may be using more bandwidth than usual at home. If you need an upgrade we can accommodate you, just call us at 745-5555 and we can upgrade you over the phone.
  • We encourage you to reduce or eliminate the need to physically visit our office by paying online through your bank or using our drop box for cheques. Additionally our Customer Service Team can be reached via email at support@logic.ky and by phone at 745-5555 to arrange payment.

  • If you need to visit us, our retail store off Eastern Ave will remain open to customers until further notice however our Governor's Square office has been closed to the public.

  • We ask customers to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We will be limiting access to only four (4) customers in our store at a time and installing social distancing barriers.

  • While you are at home staying safe and socially distant, you can watch the government's daily press conference on CIGTV which is channel 23 on LogicTV (fibre customers) or channel 28 (wireless TV customers). We also offer this channel free, over the air, available to anyone with a UHF antenna (Over the air channel 23)

Logic will continue to do everything we can do to help. We believe that together we can help slow the spread of the coronavirus and lessen its impact on our community.
