When Cayman Airways put out a tender to modernize its telephony equipment in 2006, the National Flag carrier was seeking a company that would not only offer the most advanced systems – but the most comprehensive support as well.
It’s why Logic won the bid. “We chose Logic because they were one of the few companies
at the time that was advocating Cisco as a solution,” says Everton Stewart, Senior Manager I.T. with Cayman Airways.
“To further solidify our choice they also offered the most comprehensive support option at a price point that was reasonable. Since this was our first attempt at a VoIP solution, we knew going in with our small I.T. support team that we would need extensive support and hand-holding during the first few years.” Cayman Airways remains more than happy with its choice.
The airline uses Logic’s Business DIA and SIP voice services and also subscribes to its Professional Management Services to maintain its Cisco PBX and its infrastructure. “We have not regretted that initial decision across any of the services that we have selected from Logic,” he says. “They continue to provide us with support services and resources that meet – and sometimes even exceed – my expectations.” Everton has high praise for Logic’s fast and efficient support services – an essential given that Cayman Airways is operational nearly 24/7.
“Their willingness to help identify solutions, fix a problem and my ability to reach someone who can actually fix my problem with a single phone call – regardless of whether it is within their office hours or not – speaks volumes,” he says. “It creates a relationship that is hard to compete with.”
When it comes to the hospitality industry, customer service is first and foremost. That’s one reason Grand Cayman Beach Suites chose Logic as its telecommunications provider.
General Manager Bill Powers says fast, reliable internet service is vital in order to provide guests at the luxury hotel and resort with the best experience possible. The data and voice provider is currently expanding its fiber network to offer the highest internet speeds on island.
“Reliable internet service is expected in today’s technologybased business,” he says. “It’s important that our guests know they can depend on it.” The 53-suite resort has high-speed wireless in all guest rooms, meeting rooms and common areas, as well as in its executive offices for the business traveler. Along with reliable service and innovative products, Powers says another reason they chose to sign on with the telecom is the support behind the technology. “They respond quickly on any service related issues,” he says. “Their customer service is second to none, with a great sales team and good understanding of our business and the needs of our guests.”
Neil Carle Jr. signed up with Logic six months ago – and is already singing the communication company’s praises. A technical engineer at Integrity Technology Services Ltd., the George Town native says its services are second to none. “I chose to use Logic’s services because they were willing and able to get me set up on their fiber network before any other provider on island,” says Carle, who subscribes to high speed fiber Internet (20/5) and Logic TV. “I knew Logic had a reliable, high quality service. I do a lot of downloading and video streaming – Skype, Netflicks, Hulu, Pandora radio – and a lot of remote connections to other computers at work,” he says. “Since signing up with Logic’s fiber Internet I have been extremely happy with the dependability and speed of the service.”
